PROPER CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• SEASONING - the cast iron pot must be seasoned before first use. Wash it with water, dry it gently, and coat its surface with a thin layer of cooking oil (inside and outside). Place the prepared pot over a fire and boil water in it for about 30 minutes. This step is crucial to protect it from rust.
• CLEANING - due to its cast iron construction, use only water for cleaning the pot.
• MAINTENANCE - to extend its lifespan, coat the pot with a thin layer of oil inside and outside after each wash.
